3 die sets consist of a carbide sizing/decapping die, expander die, and a seating/crimp die. TAPER CRIMPING is used for handgun/auto-loading pistols with copper-jacked bullets or lead-cast bullets without a cannelure groove - where the cartridge headspaces on the mouth of the case.
